As a Charlotte 'native' since the early 70's, I also spend time away from the city absorbing the healing quiet of the pastoral landscape of the New River Valley in southwest Virginia.  It is here in the New River Valley where I have my studio. Surrounded by the inspiring beauty of nature, I create images to share so others can appreciate what I am so lucky to experience. In addition I am an animal lover with a quirky sense of humor.  As such, my work also reflects the often humorous relationship between pets and their humans. I strive to create the best art I can. When I succeed, my flights of fancy, my scenery, or beloved pets, come alive in people's hearts and minds.
